Nissan's electric car

If you’re in Corvallis today and into zero emission vehicles, check out Nissan’s full-size, all-electric car at the Kelly Engineering building from 3:30 to 5. It’s powered by a lithium-ion battery that can go 100 miles on a single charge and wil cost less for feul than gasoline-powered vehicles. Oregon State is already involved in various research projects in the electric vehicle arena, says Ron Adams, dean of OSU’s College of Engineering.

Hey, does OSU have any electric car parking spots (where it can recharge) on campus? thanks

  2. Dave says:

Hi Dan, thanks for the question. We’d need to know where on campus you need to go, but we might be able to accommodate you with a 120 volt outlet. Even better, we will be installing official, high capacity charging stations in the parking structure early next year. Our campus sustainability office is a great place to check in for that type of info. http://oregonstate.edu/sustainability/

    Cheers!
