After many hours of hard work and preparation, OSU’s Beaver Racing team will head north this weekend to participate in the 2009 Baja SAE Oregon competition. The competition’s racing events take place on Saturday and Sunday (May 9-10) at Washougal Motocross Park (40205 NE Borin Rd., Washougal, WA, about 25 miles northeast of Portland). Saturday’s events include on the Hill Climb, Maneuverability, Acceleration, and Rock Crawl. On Sunday, the endurance event runs from 10 am to 2 pm. If you’ve got the time, come on up to Washougal and join other Beaver Racing supporters in cheering our team on to victory!
