Rose Marie McGee, owner of Nichols Garden Nursery is an active OSU Master Gardener. Betty Goergen, assistant manager of Nichols, is an active OSU Master Gardener and currently serves on the board of the Linn County Extension Association.

Orange Tour Day 8: Marion-Polk Food Share

Marion-Polk Food Share partners with OSU on a project called Pantry Partners, teaching self-sufficiency skills, nutrition, healthy cooking, and food safety skills, to clients who visit emergency food pantries in Marion and Polk Counties.

Orange Tour Day 8: Dancing Oaks Nursery

For at least 10 years, Dancing Oaks Nursery has provided material support to the Master Gardener program in Polk and Marion counties in the form of donated plants and technical assistance. They have assisted with research projects and given lectures at Master Gardener chapter meetings.

Orange Tour Day 8: Yaquina Bay Communications

Yaquina Bay Communications has supported OSU Extension for more than 25 years. In addition to sponsoring a monthly one-hour spot to highlight current Extension programs, they also separately offer OSU volunteers such as the Master Gardeners and 4-H Leaders spots to promote their programs and activities.
